Easy walk/hike and if you are willing to do some creative rock climbing you are rewarded with a view. Felt like we were right on the edge of the world on top of the cave rock with a straight drop off on the other side.

I’m so glad we found this hike that climbs a large rock above the highway. There are only room for 5 to 7 cars maybe at the trail head. We had it at the perfect time as there is only a couple of cars there....More

Unfortunately, there is very few parking spots. There is a very easy hike up to Cave Rock where you can have great views. Once at the base of Cave Rock, it is an easy climb up the rocks to the top for some fantastic panoramic...More

Unfortunately, climbing up Cave Rock wasn't an option for us, but it is impressive to look at and photograph. I didn't tell my daughter about it when we drove to it and she saw it coming and asked what the heck that was.

Short steep hike up from the parking area (in a neighborhood "Cave Rock Trail Head" on WAZE - not Cave Rock Beach) - the last part is a scramble up the back side of the rock that is above the tunnel! There is no set...More

Because of good weather with no snow, we've decided to climb there. The reward was great as the view great was. It must be great spot for sunsets. The whole rock and short trial connecting this spot with very small parking spot is colorful and...More

We went to the nice park with scenic views of Lake Tahoe. This time we were there on Labor Day. Cave Rock is very pretty.

Beautiful views of sunset. Short hike to the rock and fairly easy climb to the top of the rock. One of the best sunset views giving a glimpse of the whole lake.

Not a beach, hike to a vantage point overlooking the lake. For beach, try Kiva or Tahoe keys East Cove or anything on the East Shore Nevada State Park.
