We have visited Spooner in all the seasons. Easy to walk around with a clearly marked trail. Indian grinding rocks. Good for young kids. Not a swimming lake. Winter is fun - wear snow boots and hike around. The lake often freezes up which is...More

Had a company event here and it went great. About 20 very fit bikers went mountain bike riding some over 20 miles. Great picnic areas. Wonderful 2 mile walk around the lake, mostly flat. Wonderful day made possible by this fantastic park.

Nice relaxing trail to start out with. We heard a bear growl at us from further in the woods, just letting us know he was there i guess :)

I was here in early May and there was still a decent amount of snow. It's a nice walk and the area is beautiful. Worth seeing.
