We checked this out there early yesterday in anticipation of the upcoming warmer weather. It looks like a great place for kayaking and fishing. Lots of interesting places to explore and conveniently located.

This is a nice area that has two different parking areas/picnic shelters. The paved trail is good for biking, or running or walking, and is stroller friendly. The lake is stocked and the fishing is pretty good. If you have a boat or kayak, there...More

This is a quieter version of Lake Zorinksy found in West Omaha. Many people were fishing or taking a stroll. The nice thing about this park that makes it distinctly different from other Omaha parks is the tall and beautiful prairie that circles it. My...More

Prairie Queen Rec Area is indeed an asset to Papillion. Being new, the boat ramps are very nice. Although it is very near to Nebraska State Highway 370, it is still quiet and tranquil. It seems like you are out in the country.

Short 4 mile bike path is a nice quick ride. Good parking facility with rest room. Boat dock for small boats and lots of shorline to work for some panfish.

This recreation area is a nice break after driving through some of the larger ones. It has two parking areas, both off of 132nd Street north of Hwy. 370. The path around the lake area is paved, so it would be great for walking, biking,...More

Checked out this new artificial lake and perimeter walking path shortly after it opened. My friend and I walked the entire perimeter of the area which is well paved. There are no mileage signs posted yet, but I would estimate the entire perimeter at about...More
