It's not a very large place, but it's an excellent resource for those uncovering family history and information regarding the area around the museum. This place is great for spending an afternoon learning about the German immigrants that came from Russia and the many struggles...More

The resources that are available are amazing. If you have German from Russia heritage, this is the place to go with your questions. The museum part is interesting, small and only costs $5 and you can spend an hour or two looking at artifacts. But...More

This is kind of a weird little historical society. For a quirky little look at an interesting pocket of people, the museum's curator is very knowledgeable. It is a strange thing though, that nothing is open in the outbuildings in March... and the upstairs exhibits...More

OK, who even knew that "Germans From Russia" was even a Thing?? Much less that they even have their own museum?! Well, if my own grandfather had not actually been one, and a homesteading immigrant to boot, I would be included among the vast number...More

Coming from a Germans from Russia family, I have a personal connection to this museum. It doesn't take long, but it does have interesting artifacts.

This little museum has been around since the 80's and I used to go in college. I took my grandparents here recently and they loved it.

It was an interesting tour of German immigration through Russia, a topic I knew absolutely nothing about before my visit and now am completely knowledgeable about for a topic.

We decided to stop at this Museum just for fun. It is small, but there is a lot of good history and information about the German's from Russia that came to the United States, and to other Countries. There is a wealth of information and...More

This is a small, free museum on a side street in Lincoln. It's really quite interesting - I am German by heritage and think I know a lot about history, but I had no idea about this. I went through in about 20 min, skipped...More

Very informative. Liked the video which gave the history of how and why Germans settled in Russia and why then left. Unfortunately we couldn't view the other buildings -- they only take tours in the afternoon.
