Visited Pula for Outlook festival - fantastic fun! We are somewhat older than the average attendee so stayed in a local AirBnB (wonderful warm elderly couple) and walked (5 minutes) to the festival. The people are friendly, scenery beautiful and festival awesome. Highly recommended!

The fortress was built in the 19th century in order to defend the entrance to the main naval port of the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. It is a magnificent structure, covering more than ten thousand square meters of area, surrounded by a deep ditch with three entrances.
