Well maintained trail along Rock Creek. Absolutely gorgeous area and not too difficult, until you get to where the trail starts an elevation climb.

The Lake Fork Trail offers several excellent forest trails in the mountains very near Red Lodge, MT, including the main trail along a scenic river. My wife and I saw deer and other wildlife, and just missed seeing a moose. Fortunately, no bear encounters, though...More

Hike about 6 miles back to Broadwater, a wide spot in the creek. The trail has a gentle grade and is right along the creek. The Broadwater area is easy to spot and lots of rocks to sit on and enjoy the view.

One of the 1st trails I hiked in the area back in 1985. Have done it many times since. Have seen moose and mountain lions on the trail. No bears yet. One time took my 70 year old aunt a few miles up the trail.

This is a great hiking trail -- easy grade for the first six miles or so, then the pitch seriously increases to the top of Sundance Pass, about 10 miles in. The first six miles of the route parallel the Lake Fork of Rock Creek....More

This was our favorite snowshoe trail in the Red Lodge area. We went to the wilderness boundary. Fun!

We went on an afternoon hike along Rock Creek that the Forest Ranger recommended. The hike was pretty easy, mostly walking. The scenery was beautiful with orange and yellow aspen amongst the pine trees and peaks on both sides. In retrospect, more time, water, and...More

This trail was well kept and beautiful. Bear were active when I went and as a city girl was not prepared, make sure to have bear spray/bear bell. I happened to have a whistle in my bag so used that and some, "Hey Bear!" calls,...More

I think a stroller is doable for the first section of the hike, I can't speak for the entire hike since I didn't go that far
