very small sanctuary, but very well kept with variety of animals. Paths to follow clearly marked, kids loved that not so large, and could get round easily. Very clean, excellant picnic area.

Had a nice time visiting this sanctuary. Wife and I enjoy the animals. This location is not overly big but a good size to spend an hour or two. All animals appear to be in good shape and healthy. Not easy to get any good...More

We booked a tour with guide Gary Robson. He spent almost 2 hours with us describing each of the sanctuary's residents and their stories of how/why they ended up there. Unfortunate circumstances but good endings as they are protected and well taken care of in...More

This is a special place. Each animal is described briefly and included why each resident ended up at the sanctuary. It can easily be walked in about an hour; more if you enjoy watching the animals behavior closely. The price is very reasonable for such...More

Much smaller facility than we expected - especially for the cost. Bear enclosure although it must be adequate, seems cramped and lacks natural environmental facilities. Disappointed that the wolf enclosure is not completed so no wolves to be seen. Staff member at reception was friendly...More

Thank you for the review. I am sorry your visit wasn't up to your expectations. I am not sure if you were able to see, but the bear enclosures have a back side to them that the public most often does not realize exists. They...More

Had 2 hours before the next activity and took wife and children on a whim. VERY impressed. Diverse collection. Educational. Terrific displays. Can be done at any pace. Better bear exhibit than any zoo. Funky critter names added humor.

You may want to call the Wildlife Sanctuary directly. If they don't, perhaps they will have a resource to help.

I believe the fees were $7.00 for adults. Their website might have more information but I believe they do have an annual pass that is available. It would probably not be cost effective unless you lived close to the area... More
