I ran a 5k race on the 4th of July. It was great. The park is really very nice about 1.5 miles long and plenty wide. Trees, flowers, grass, squirrels, birds. The maintenance is excellent. Even has concerts weekly in the summer.
A wonderful place to walk! There are shady places and sunny places, cute bridges, water features, Art Deco pavilions, and an excellent farmers market with live music on Saturdays. What a wonderful green haven in the concrete jungle.

I lived 5 blocks from this park for 12 years. It is them most accessible and beautiful park in St. Louis. The tennis facility is excellent, the grounds are beautiful in every season of the year. There are playgrounds for kids, water fountains to play...More
