I was more interested in the history of the buildings (plaques on the historical ones). The shops aren't open on Mondays and Tuesdays for the most part, and parking can be tricky on the weekends. But it has some great history down there.

Had a great afternoon wandering in and out of the shops...lots to see and all have a little different vibe. It seems the shops open a bit later in the morning than chain stores or malls...I would not go much before 11:00. But then you...More

The waitress where we had breakfast suggested this place. Took and Uber to get there. The driver and the waitress and the owner of the barshop told us in no uncertain terms to be very careful. We were and enjoyed walking around all the shops.

Enjoyed an afternoon stroll and didn't even mind the shops weren't open. Just loved reading the historical plates and watching the architecture change. Especially enjoyed having an elephant ear at the first Hispanic bakery in St. Louis celebrating 20 year next May.
