As long as you are prepared, I think you can't go wrong. This is not a hike. This is not walking inside a glacier. This is a human-made tunnel. Now you're prepared. It's a slow, very cold and informative walk to the ice tunnel. You...More

Even thought it is summer you'll want warm clothes when visiting. The cave itself is 28F and outside it can be even colder when the wind is blowing. There is a small lodge where the tour begins that sells hats and gloves, but it is...More

After a very impressive drive up by car, we arrived at Juvasshytta. How cold it was up there. The thermometer said 5 degrees C but with the cold wind it felt much colder. Go prepared and bring gloves and a hat. Any try to bring...More

This is a rare opportunity to enter into 6.600 years old ice in a safe way. The glacier and the ice cave itself is fantastic, but you also get a fascinating story. The guides were friendly and very knowledgeable.

It was a cool experience to go inside a tunnel with historical objects from several thousands years ago. There is a short video presentation inside the tunnel which was really awesome. If anyone goes to Lom or nearby place, has to visit this tunnel once.

This tour takes you on a journey back in time and shows the wonderful nature at the top of Norway's highest mountain. We heard about permafrost, rain deers, and Norse gods. The walk into the ice cave is just the peek of this tour and...More

This is your chance to step inside of a glacier. There are guided tours twice a day that take you around the glaciers and then walk you into a tunnel under one. Cool stuff.
