- KristinaSapulpa, Oklahoma390 contributions3rd times a charm!I have been to Branson numerous times over the past 15 years. This time, I was a little hesitant to visit Ripley's because I thought everything would be the same as it was years ago. I could not be more wrong. Things were different and although we're going through Covid right now, they were taking precautions to keep all customers safe. I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits and highly recommend it for anyone else with kids or not.Visited June 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten June 21, 2020
- KeriCfromMissouri43 contributionsInteresting but not unbelievableThis place has a lot of interesting items, but very few of the actual “believe it or not” items. I was rather disappointed. I can look at posters or videos of things from home. I was expecting more of the actual items themselves. Many “replicas” of things, or large items built of tires, toothpicks, etc. While that’s cool- it’s not Ripley’s level stuff. Fun, but not what I expected.Visited July 2020Traveled with familyWritten July 18, 2020
- Eugene VLittleton, Colorado58 contributionsThis was really fun and entertainingWe had an amazing time at the Museum portion of this. Lots of fun surprises in the Museum that make it truly unique. The exhibits really were fun and i caught my 12 year old fascinated by the exhibits. The museum had some fun pranks in it that caught him and we loved it. It was one of our favorite things we did in Branson. Next to fishing. Great tank exhibits outside as well. I would not recommend the laser tag portion of this. It was an hour walk for us. Really not worth the price. The Museum is awesome but the adventure park add on is not needed.Visited June 2021Traveled with familyWritten June 26, 2021

Definitely NOT worth the admission price. Some interesting things but nothing awe inspiring or shocking. Very disappointed. I’d save your money and not visit this attraction.

We only purchased for the museum portion, as we did not feel like we needed to pay extra for the other activities that are more for kids anyways. Even so, we still ended up forking over about $65 for the TWO of us which I thought was rather ridiculous. At first I gave it a chance because I've never been to a Ripley's before, but my boyfriend has been to one down in Florida. He said the one down there was much better and had more and cooler stuff.
I was also expecting there to be more for that kind of price. About half of the attractions it seemed were things I could easily see in an art museum, such as statues built from nails, tires, or even horseshoes.
The layout of the building was pretty cool, the staff were friendly and there were some things we enjoyed like the spinning tunnel at the end and the shrunken heads, but if I were to go back to Branson I would skip over this entirely and would not recommend it to my friends. This was one of the first places we visited on our trip and it was one of the most disappointing places of our trip.

Wasn’t interesting to us. (Ages 25 and 49) if you’re into old artifacts and reading lots of information, then you may like it. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hardly any exhibits, mostly pictures of things. The layout seemed scarce and empty. We’ve been to the Ripleys in Panama City Beach and this one couldn’t even compare to the PCB one. I would not recommend this museum to anyone.

The kids enjoyed it and the employees were friendly and helpful. There aren’t as many actual exhibits as there are in San Francisco or Orlando. This site has a lot of pictures. The most unique items are the outside sculptures.

We had an outstanding time. Beautiful scenery and lots of fun shows to attend. Silver Dollar City and the River Boat was really fun.

Save your money and go across the street and ride the Ferris wheel. Cost my family of 4 over $110 with discounts to look at pictures and read posters. Not much of anything else in there believe it or not.

Is it a children's museum? Like if adults with no children go, would it be weird? we went to a museum in shreveport once, it ended up being a childrens museum... Like 100% for CHILDREN...so we were totally awkward being there without any kids.lol

There is like a small section that is geared towards children but as an adult I had as much fun there as the rest of the museum. I would say that it is more for adults but children are welcome. I went with three of my friends and we didn’t have any children but we all equally enjoyed it.

Are the exhibits interactive or is this a 'look and read' type of museum?
natashawheeler

It is more of a look and read type museum. There are a few hands on activities but not enough to keep children occupied while the adults read about the other exhibits.
Do this one ever get the African fertility statue on the tours or just London, Orlando and Maryland

How long does it take to go through the whole building and see everything?

Branson, MO
On average an hour and a half but it is a self guided tour and you can stay as long as you want.

Bought tickets to come in February and I was wanting to know if parking is free? We went to St. Louis last year and EVERYWHERE had to pay for parking. Just trying to get my ducks in a row before we come thanks!

No worries Erica. We do not charge for parking. We look forward to seeing you!
