Interesting display not to be missed
After passing this museum several times over the years, we had time available to see it this trip. It was well worth the time and admission charge. Displays are professionally prepared. The exhibits are generally arranged chronologically starting with WWI. The names of all armed service men and women killed in battle are displayed.

    Stories were very touching
The veterans museum was full of great stories from veterans and true heroes of our wars. The walls full of names of men who died to protect our liberties brought me to tears. They had toilet paper from WWII and a life raft for a baby. I didn't know gas masks for horses were ever used.

Learning from the Veterans' Memorial Museum
I visited the Veterans’ Memorial Museum in Branson, Missouri and found an excellent place to learn more about the history of our military’s participation in World War I through the war in Afghanistan. I have been to many war museums and what I found most interesting here was the focus on local (Missouri and surrounding states) members of the military and their efforts, contributions and sacrifices in support of their country. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable.

An nice tribute to name all that gave life for country in WW2 and Viet nam, ( and other conflicts) but fell short on that era displays. More of uniforms and personal stories than items. More on Japan and enemy items, less and non existent Viet era and recent veterans. Thought I could show family what we had back then, but was absent of items and displays to show.

Very good veterans museum with a lot of information, uniforms and photographs. Would not really recommend it for children, I believe that it would be hard to keep their attention, more for the adults. Lots of great information.

Husband and I thought we’d take a few days of Vaca up to Branson, MO to go bust, see and do some things. On Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 we decided to go visit the Veteran’s Memorial Museum, it’s always a fave on our list. They definitely have updated and upgraded since last we visited. We are a Military Family on both sides of our Family and our oldest Son served our great Country for near 10 years! If you LOVE OUR MILITARY MEN/WOMEN AND OUR COUNTRY THIS IS A MUST TO VISIT on your trip to Branson, MO! It NEVER DISAPPOINTS! We appreciate ALL THE MEMORABILIA to look at, to read and see and to those who have selflessly donated to any and ALL VETERAN’S MUSEUMS for without these resources and contributions people like us wouldn’t be able to go back in time and see the heartbreak of the Wars, see the incredible sacrifices made from the beginning then up to now, see how situations and circumstances have altered and changed History and this World we live in. Please go pay your respects to the Past, Present and Future. Please go understand the intricacies and difficulties of the Wars that has happened and many have experienced. Let it soak in, let in change you, let it melt your heart and give many thanks to our Military Service Members and Veteran’s and for the POW’S who are still missing and to the One’s who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Again, it’s a privilege to be able to see and take in all of these things. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Very nice Museum. Lot of uniforms. But the most interesting thing about the uniforms is the story of the people that wore them. Staff was very nice and helpful. Worth the visit.

Although we had passed by the Branson Veterans Memorial Museum before, this was our first visit. We enjoyed viewing all of the memorabilia, the various displays, the movie clips, and gift store. There is a Veteran’s discount but the admission is still a bit pricey for what is offered. I am glad we visited and was extremely moved, especially in the wall of names for the WW2 troops who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. It is worth going to. We also liked the airplane, helicopter, and troops statue in front of the parking lot.

This is a very well laid out museum. The bronze statue out front is something you can look at for an hour with the detail it has and the actual named people in the statue. Lots of info on the walls and displays that will leave you wishing this was a larger facility. Do not let that deter you from going! It is a very nice place to visit, the staff was amazing also.

Even though the story being told here is a tragic one, it is truly humbling to see what the men and women of America fighting to keep our freedoms. If you think that freedom is free, this is an eye opener that it isn't. I loved every minute of walking through every display in there. I have a lot of family that have served in the military. I am grateful to each and every person who makes that sacrifice. It's a big one to make. The painting of D-Day was memorizing. My grandfather was in pearl harbor on his ship when it was hit. I can't even imagine what he saw. I plan to bring my kids up to see everything. It is amazing.

This veterans museum covers the period from WWII to the present. Many names on the wall, mostly alphabetical. I had a bit of hard time finding my uncle's name but I did find it.

This is a great experience! I learned many things regarding WWII and Vietnam during our visit! This is a self-paced walk-through exhibit. The photos and exhibits are amazing. Who knew there were "gas masks" for babies? Fold out preacher's pulpit and organ are on display. There is one room completely covered in pennies in remembrance for each military member to perish in WWII. There are unique items you may not expect. Soda/pop cans from Desert Shield/Desert Storm brought back memories for me as I drank from such cans while in Saudi Arabia during that time. We really enjoyed the thoughtful and reverent manner these items are displayed. There is the USAF uniform from Boxcar Willie's days in the Air Force. Did you know he owned a theatre in Branson?
