Cumberland State Forest is a beautiful little piece of paradise in an urban setting. It is so peaceful and I just love walking there. Unfortunately they are thinking of building apartments close by which may spoil the tranquillity and the wonderful bird life.

Visited on a Saturday knowing parking is limited. Surprised that with the number of businesses operating here the parking is so limited

Been here many times. Excellent for walks with the family and pets, breakfast at the cafe. etc. Lots of parking available within, and a nursery as well, incase you want to buy any plants

We love the walking tracks in Cumberland State Forest, from the easy (and accessible) 300 metre sensory trail, to various longer trails which wind their way through valleys and up some steeper hills, all sheltered by towering native forest and all available free of charge....More
