Abstract art is not my thing, but information on her life and times were interesting to us. She led an interesting life.

This is actually part of the Ohr museum. It is a small house dedicated to Dusti Bonge art which is of the abstract variety.

Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate all our visitors very much and hope you enjoyed your experience. Just to clarify, although we are in a building on the Ohr Museum campus., we are actually a separate institution. We hope you will visit again next time you are on the Coast!

I saw this from the outside only on the walking tour (which was fascinating by the way. Get the brochure/map at the Biloxi Visitors' Center). it's a French Creole clapboard frame structure built in the mid 1800's. Very well kept up and architechturally interesting.

This is a wonderful contemporary gallery dedicated to the work of a Biloxi native, Dusti Bongè. She was a part of the Abstract Expressionist movement in the 1950s. The DBAF is tucked away in the heart of Downtown Biloxi- the growing Rue Magnolia Arts District in a restored historic cottage. So, if you are an art ,history, architecture buff, it is definitely worth a stroll down Rue Magnolia to visit this foundation!

This is a wonderful little museum dedicated to the art work of Dusti Bonge who is a native of Biloxi and was definetly ahead of her time in her arts. The house is over 140 years old and gives a great history of not only art but local history. Great for tourist and locals alike.
