St. Michael's is one of the few Churches in the area that survived Katrina. The facility looks absolutely stunning surrounded by stained glass.
The Pastor, Staff and Parishoner's were all very friendly.
They didn't have a choir or a instrument player at this service but the Pastor filled in by singing and he can sing! Wonderful inspiring service!
Plese keep in mind that they rely mostly on visitors to the area to help sustain the church. Please don't forget to help them out when the basket is passed.

We attended the 10 am service on Christmas day. The stained glass windows and architecture of the building are unique. Covid distancing and hand sanitizing was being observed, but communion was very risky, so we did not participate. It is well worth stopping to visit the church.

We attended 5:PM mass Saturday and were very surprised once we were inside this round structure. Acoustics were not that great and Father's mic could have been turned up a bit but as always a great experience to be able to follow our Catholic faith pretty much anywhere we travel. St. Michael defend us!

During the hurricane, all the pews were torn from the floor and wound up on the altar. All is repaired now and daily mass is in the small chapel. The priest did open the church and it is quite beautiful. It is right in town and is mostly attended by vacationers. But it's unique style is something to see.

We were so glad to see St. Michael's after Katrina. Thankfully, the stained glass panels are as awe-inspiring as ever. The design of the church, like a giant oyster or clam shell, is a homage to the seafood workers who toil along the sea shore in front of the church (don't miss the Small Craft Harbor nearby where you can buy fresh shrimp right off the boats in season.). They also worship here. Catholic or not, try to catch a mass, shorts welcome. The soaring ceilings, peaceful atmosphere, and genuine coast feel will give you an idea of the spirit of this place. While we might not have the emerald coast of Florida, without the nutrient rich waters of the Gulf, we would not have the best tasting shrimp around. (Also look for the Shrimp SIgns telling you where to get fresh gulf seafood).
Please light a candle, say a little prayer or least send good thoughts to someone, and leave a small donation.

Be sure to visit this church of the fishermen when in Biloxi. A survivor from hurricane Katrina the interiour is spectacular. The Sunday service is special with a small orchestra and choir. It's a spot worth visiting and a beuatiful experience.
