One of Zumbrota's claims to fame is that it is the location of the only covered bridge in Minnesota. The bridge is on the edge of nice city park that features picnic areas, horseshoe pits, camping sites, a frisbee golf course and a swimming pool.

If you are in the mood to see a covered bridge, stop in to see this. Not far off the freeway. For anyone that saw Bridges of Madison County there is always a tie to a covered bridge!

We stop on our way home for a dinner picnic after going to the Spam museum, Mystery Cave and Forestville. Very nice park with lots of picnic tables and a really nice play area. The bridge is beautiful. Great for pictures.

A fun little spot with a cute park and new bathrooms. We enjoy the covered bridges in Iowa and thought it was fun to find one in Minnesota.

Covered bridge was something new for me (unseen until now) and I enjoyed seeing one. For few minutes my mind traveled back in the past and saw old ford cars full of whisky crosing the river during the prohibition period. If you are near Zumbrota...More
