While in Winona, we visited the Polish Museum on their Tasty Apple celebration day. The festivities were great with yummy Polish food made just like Grandma did, fresh pressed apple juice and music and dancing. Plus, handmade items to purchase and of course the wonderful...More

Less than a block from the Watkins plant is the Polish Museum. You don't have to be Polish to enjoy this stop. A good lesson in Polish history in the US

This place is a celebration of the long and interesting history of Polish immigration and naturalization to the upper Midwest of the US and Canada. A work in progress, it seems to grow every time I return. You can spend hours and hours there. The...More

This place was a "must-stop here" for us. Not only is there a wonderful collection of history about Polish (Kashubian) immigrants to the Winona area, but the staff was (and is) extremely helpful with genealogical research. The museum has three buildings filled with history. Make...More

We enjoyed stopping here and there was a lot of Polish history and items that were worn or used in that area.
