Interesting museum and shop, worth the time we spent walking through. They had a detailed history of the company and their products. There are current products in the attached store

The history in this museum was incredible! I have used these products as fun memories of my grandmothers who swore by each and every product made! They have a fabulous collection of bottles and products from their long history. The store is cute and they have specials monthly. We bought several items to bring home to my kitchen

It was OK. The exhibit consisted mostly of old product bottles that don't really turn me on. I appreciated the fact that masks were required. I did not appreciate the fact that a major tourist destination does not have a restroom.

I always take visitors to the Watkin's Museum to see a bit of Winona business history and pick up a few spices too!

Stopped by this place steeped in history for the first time while passing through town with my significant other. Despite going to college in Winona, I never made it down to this place.

As another reviewer said, it showcases an era in US history where salesmen traveled door--to-door selling products. Visiting this modest museum also tells the history of America and how the company has adapted to those changes.

I loved it because I'm a history buff, my 90-year-old would totally dig the step back into time.

There is also a small store where their products are sold. Oh...ands it's free.

The museum is tucked away in a space between two of the larger parts of the complex. The sign pointing to it did not stand out. The museum was smaller than expected. However, if you grew up in the 1950s (and before) and had a "Watkins man" visit your home, a visit to the museum will bring back many memories. My mother was reminded of so many products and using them in her early years. She truly enjoyed the flashbacks and it was entertaining listening to her. We also purchased a few items in the gift shop and had a very informative and enjoyable conversation with the clerk there.

Be sure to visit and load up on Watkins spices, hand soap, and many more items. My favorite is the ground pepper. We picked up their new IPA seasoning too. Cant wait to try it.

It's an interesting museum that showcases a piece of American history. It's a fairly quick tour, easily doable in an hour, and quite informative and interesting. Yes, it's a niche museum dedicated to the Watkins brand, but the company is/was an iconic part of the nation's retail history.

We enjoyed this quick museum tour of the Watkins history. It was fun to try to figure out the scents of the extracts. I hope this business continues to thrive.
