Cheltenham Park is a major attraction in the area and is a delight to visit during the cooler months. Undulations are not over severe and the vast majority of people can handle the terrain. A severe fire last summer did some damage east of the...More

Located close to the busy Charman Road and Cheltenham Railway Station, this park is a little oasis in the midst of suburbia. The walking paths, playground and lovely bush setting make it ideal place to escape for half an hour or more.

The recent bushfire here shows that this is real bush. I am sure it will recover and the flora and fauna reserve seems untouched. It is a pleasant walk up from the railway station through this wilderness and many bird species can be spotted. There...More

This park has potential. Although it's right near the golf course, it doesn't have much parking, and it's awkward to get to without a car. If you have kids and a car, go. But not late at night.

Surprisingly a really nice park for the kids. Lots of space to run around and under the shade of the trees. Barbecue and grass areas really good and spread out. Has a flying fox trapeze for the kids and some nice longer slides.

I celebrated a big birthday there and it was great. Lots of room for kids to run around and plenty of space that you are not on top of each other.

The park offers everything - free BBQ's, childrens' playground, ovals, bushwalking tracks and toilet facilities, so it is an excellent gathering point for celebrations where the children can run free and the adults can socialise. Although it is often busy on weekends there always seems...More
