I had read a review elsewhere that this state park was a great place to get away from it all and yet not travel far from the Twin Cities. Glacial Lakes did not disappoint. Beautiful rolling hills, scenic lakes and no crowds. Remarkable diversity of...More

Another quiet weekday in another Minnesota State Park. I was brought to this State Park during my geocaching adventures. The water was beautiful and still on this day in spite of the wind. A beautiful hike took me to a couple of overlooks where I...More

Each year we hold a family reunion in this park. We come back as it is quiet, friendly, has a decent swimming area and nice cabins.

This is a great place to go to get away from the crowds. There are kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards to rent. There are also new cabins and tent sites. Also great trails!
