We go every year! Beautiful, relaxing, affordable, friendly staff, and the kids love it! We always go to Osceola afterwards to see the waterfall. Highly recommend!!

This was a really pleasant way to spend a spring afternoon. We packed a bag lunch and enjoyed walking up and down the train. Very friendly staff. My kids are 8,5&4, each of them really loved it.

Visited on a cold Saturday in January. Museum has a nice display of rolling stock and railroad artifacts. The roundhouse also had a short train ride in a caboose, about 15 minutes, from the roundhouse to the outer limits of the yard and back. Fun activity for kids. Worth a visit!

Pumpkin Express 2pm Sat 10/23. 3 Families including our 2 3/4 year old and 12 mos old Grandkids. We all had a great time. Well organized. Fun activities in Dresser. Animal Balloons a big hit but long line. Hay Bale Maze and Bouncy House also fun for our GKs . If possible get help with this or another popular activity, maybe Face Painting to thin the lines. Volunteers were great. A shout out to Bob Puelston for taking this on and organizing the event. I've heard the Museum is great too.

My grandkids are three and five and always like to watch the train go by so we finally found a chance to take the kids on a real train ride they had a great time. The children really liked all the other activities at the train depot.

Wonderful Day!! We had a most enjoyable family day taking a trip back in time! We enjoyed seeing the beauty of nature in historic train ride. So relaxing and fun!! It is so good to inform the younger of our train history! I love the dedicated, knowledgeable, kind staff that volunteer. We left them with a good tip!!

We went on The Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway train ride. Mt family of 5 was: we - two grandparent, our adult daughter, and our grandson of 5. For my daughter and my grandson who had never been on a train it was a very interesting experience. For us who have had many train rides on different trains in various places it was very boring. So, if you have never been on the train or if you want your children/grandchildren have some fun, it's a good place to go. Otherwise, it's a waste of money.

Had a fun 1.5-hour train ride to experience a vintage train and to see fall colors. If you haven't ridden in a train before, this is even more fun. Open seating so you can move from side to side if you are taking photos; you can walk through the train as it travels and visit the snack bar car to look out through open sections of the train (safety bars included). The train doesn't travel too fast and does slow down to cross the trestle bridge, giving passengers a few moments to admire the river and the narrow bridge itself. There are two other intersections with roads, so the train whistle is activated a few times. The seats are original, so they are adequately comfortable but nothing like a modern train. It's part of the charm.
