Really a great place to pick pit some oils and vinegar. I bought a wonderful espresso vinegar and will use our just just dip bread! I was a like disappointed that several of the varieties were out but I imagine this it's the nature of the business. I feel like the location could be made a little cozier but this would not stop me from going back. I do not suggest the habenero olive oil - it was crazy but I really liked the chipotle olive oil.

If you are in Duluth Canal Park area and you like olive oil as I do then you have to make a stop at The Rustic Olive place. You can sample oil and vinegar infused with a world of tasty herbs, fruits and spices for free. Hint; you will not leave empty handed.

So many choices of olive oil and of vinegars. It seemed like my palette would give out before the samples ran out. It is a relaxing and the staff knows their stuff.

This was my second time shopping at the Rustic Olive and I was even more impressed with my visit today than I was a year ago! The female employee was very knowledgeable and helpful, and so very pleasant! It was fun to visit with her. There were new choices in the olive oil section that were delicious to sample, and I also purchased a new flavor of balsamic vinegar.......Honey Date. I was very pleased that there were a few of my favorite vinegar in stock......Honey Ginger! Love that taste and it's so very versatile in so many types of food! If you want to add some extra flavor to your recipes and want very tasty and healthy options.....just stop by the Rustic Olive and have a great time sampling all of the flavors in stock!

We had a wonderful experience at the Rustic Olive. Friendly, informative staff went above and beyond to help us try combinations and give suggestions- we left with a few high-quality infused balsamics and olive oils for ourselves and a nice gift as well. Right across from Grandma's and they offer $5 off a $20 purchase with a Grandma's receipt.

Literally one of my favorite stops during our visit to Duluth. We loved all the oils and balsamics. The employee there was super helpful and extremely friendly. Blood orange oil and strawberry balsamic are outstanding. Stop in for a taste! It takes you to Napa valley!

We recently had friends visit from out of town and thought it would be fun to take them to Canal Park for some fun sites. One of the great places is the relatively new Rustic Olive. They have a wide selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars to try. The flavors are out of this world good! We purchased a bottle of bacon olive oil and a bottle of maple balsamic vinegar and used them that night on salad, AMAZING!! They also have oil flavors like butter, organic garlic, black or white truffle, lime and hot pepper and balsamics like the maple, pear and cinnamon, honey and ginger, strawberry, blueberry, cherry or the beautiful mellow aged balsamic. There are a bunch more that I am not remembering. The bottles get heavy so when you visit make sure you go here as your last stop or plan on walking back to your car with your goodies, they are located just next to the central pay parking lot in Canal Park so it makes it a little easier. If you are a local and are planning on purchasing more be sure to ask about the frequent buyer punch card, I am well on my way to a free bottle of oil.

This seems to be a new category of gourmet store. We were first introduced to it this summer at Oro di Oliva in Milwaukee. So last month when we were in Duluth and discovered that The Rustic Olive was similar, we stopped in to restock. This concept certainly changed the way I think about olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Try mango white balsamic and chile olive oil drizzled over fresh mangoes. Or chocolate balsamic drizzled over dark chocolate ice cream. Coconut balsamic with curry and rice. The combinations and possibilities are truly endless. The Rustic Olive also has some nut oils, such as walnut and almond, which are also delicious.

We traveled to Duluth two weekend ago. I've been wanting to experience going to taste the different oils. I could have in Mpls, however, since we were going to Duluth, decided to give them a chance. What a HUGE mistake. We got rude attitude from the two girls working there. One even had the audacity to admit that she was the assistant manager after her crude ill-behavior. The other girl's name is Andrea. She harshly scolded me after I spilled a drop of oil on the counter. I was not treated well or as a buying customer. She repeatedly kept rolling her eyes at me. She made me felt unwelcomed and wanted me out of there. I felt very strongly in returning what I had bought. I will never return there. I wrote this same review to the owners website and haven't heard a reply from them . Guess they don't care

We are sorry we did not get a response out sooner. Due to the fact our surveillance camera had shown us that our staff was dealing with a very difficult customer. We opted to not respond to her concerns due to the fact it would have made the situation worse. If this type of behavior is exhibited by anyone in our store in the future they will be asked to find another location to fulfill their shopping needs.
