The Duluth Lakewalk area is a great way to see Lake Superior and get exercise doing so. The Lakewalk area is well maintained and I walked alone at night with no apprehension. It was 4th of July weekend so there were quite a few people...More

Wouldn't be a complete trip to Duluth without a walk on the cakewalk. FREE and great places to eat at the beginning, middle or end!

The Lakewalk is still one of the most pleasant, relaxing things to do in Duluth. Even when crowed, you don't feel that way walking next to the amazing Great Lake Superior.

A nice walk right along the lake. Lots of activity. Have to be aware of skaters, runners, walkers, dogs, bikes. Horse drawn carriages on a different path.

We stayed at the far end of Canal Park and enjoyed a walk all the way to Fitgers. You could go further north. Lots so T-shirt /trinkets shops, restaurant and other attractions like public art

The lake walk extends for miles right along the Lake Superior shore. The surface is good and there is plenty of space for bicyclists, pet walkers, runners, and walkers.

The paved path is good all around Canal Park and between Canal Park and downtown. The separate boardwalk beside the paved path was washed out in places, but what remains is good for standing to view the lake without being... More

The full repair will be done in the spring once the weather breaks but the lakewalk and most of the boardwalk is in perfect shape. The city closes the area around the lighthouses as it is dangerous with the ice that... More
