This is a great location just north of Duluth you can stop and stretch before heading up the north shore on your adventures. Dogs are allowed on leash and there are parks for kids. Exploring the shore is great here too.

The taco truck was good. The art was interesting. If you go, try driving down the Brighton Beach road to park. There's more parking than you think and you don't have to walk as far

We go to Brighton Beach every time we're in Duluth, or even drive by. It's so relaxing to sit on the rocks and listen to the lake, watch the huge boats on the horizon, and see the kids playing on the rocks or picking up...More

Close to Duluth but lots of great beach to throw rocks in the lake. No real beach since the large rocks go out into the water but we always picnic here. Usually we swim in the cold water too,

Brighton beach is the perfect place to skip rocks into Lake Superior. Lots of rocks to choose from. You can go into the water but it is really cold

This Beach is actually quite rocky. It's more of a place to drive and park to watch the water. if a person struggles with hikes to the beach, this is a great way to get close to the water. It's at the northern end of...More
