If you are on or near crane lake this is a must see. Come prepared and you can hike up and around the gorge. The trails are well marked and can be as long or short as you choose. Pick a nice day.

Great hike along the vermillion river. it is a medium hike with some gains and losses in elevation. Worth the trip to see the gorge.

Beautiful hiking trail best accessed by boat. Keep children and pets close in hand as there are steep cliffs that drop off into the Vermillion River Gorge.

Walked to the gorge from the boat dock. Fairly easy walk. Lots of water was rushing thru the gorge. We were there fishing and this broke up the day a little. Very good to experience this. Have never seen anything quite like it.

Nice flat hike in the summer, lovely in the winter if you are on sleds as the road is not plowed and the path is not cleared.

This trail is located near Crane Lake, just across the Voyagaire Lodge. It's a 3 mile out and back trail rated as moderate. It follows the beautiful Vermilion River for most of it. And ends up with a gorgeous view over the falls. Bring plenty...More
