We visit the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, if not everyday, most certainly multiple times throughout the week. We absolutely love it! There is a park for our little ones and people of space and area to grill out, lay out, or pass out lol....More

This park is a really nice place to go for a run or walk the dog. We both enjoy the change in scenery! Costs $5 to drive in on Coon Rapids side, or $25 buys you an annual pass to use at all the parks...More

The Dam is a great place to run or walk. There is lots of trails and I felt very safe there. I visited around 5pm during the week.

Nestled between two large suburbs, this tranquil park offers miles of trails and one of the best boat launches in the metro area

We have enjoyed this park for years! It's beautiful by the Mississippi River and Coon Rapids Dam. We visited in the fall to take pictures of the family. The colors were still pretty good in November. It's a great place to walk, bike and picnic.

What a nice place to bring the family to bike or picnic and enjoy the rushing water. Very well kept up park and seems to be safe but we never stay out late anywhere

I suggest the Northside of the dam as much as the falls. Very well kept up and clean. You walk over the dam and the view point is amazing!

Very nice park, convenient location easy to get to. Great walking/running/biking trail paralleling the Mississippi. Always make time to head over here when I'm in town.

The park does cost to get inside. If you don't want to pay and are willing to walk a half a mile, you can park on the street outside of the park. Those looking for a bargain can get in for free during River Festival...More
