I'm an alum, so I always enjoy visiting the campus. In addition to all of the campus area things to see, there's also a very long and interesting history of the site as the former Fort Brady and all the history that goes with that.

We went for a college visit. The campus is updated and attractive, and pretty compact, limiting walking distance. The history as a former WWII military base and the buildings converted to University usage is interesting. The university is nicely located on a hill overlooking the river, locks, and international bridge.
The staff and tour personnel are VERY friendly.

The various buildings are awesome and it is a nice walk around campus to look at all of the historic architecture.

We drove 4.5 hours for a tour and were pleasantly surprised how much we liked the campus. Being a prior military base gave it some cool history and a small town feel. The buildings are updated, staff and students seem friendly and they offer a TON of student activities. Our daughter isn’t decided where she will go next year, but LSSU is definitely on the list!

Nice small campus.
My Nephews attend classes at LSSU. The campus is small, very pretty and located just a couple mile from the Sault locks.

If you have a potential college student consider Lake Superior State University. Class sizes are small, excellent access to professors and if you enjoy winter you will love it.
They have a WCHA hockey team, basketball (women’s and men’s) track and women’s softball.

We took our kids for a visit here. It is a really gorgeous campus that is nicely tight knit. Everything is walking distance and the view out to the water and the canadian bridge was amazing. I'm sure it gets quite chilly in winter but snow activities can be real fun too! Oh yeah, and studying too. :)
