What a goreous bridge! And it was even under repair during the visit. What is great is that it gave us time to sit and wait during the repair section. When you are off the bridge, there is a great garden and little restaurant on...More

I was very disappointed to have to pay a toll $3.50 on both the Canadian and American sides each and every time you cross the bridge. The lines at the customs and entry stations were often very long. The view from the big bridge was...More

Our trip to SSM was planned to participate in thia years Bridge walk. It was well organized -except for the return trip. The view from the bridge helped to plan our later activities.

This bridge is one of those structures that looks majestic from a distance and amazing from a closer vantage. The twin flags marking the international border are a lovely touch.

You have to visit the bridge and of course the Upper Peninsula in MI. Lake Superior is breathtaking and a beautiful span of it as you cross the bridge. You can see Mackinaw Island and so much more on the bridge. You can also take...More

While obviously necessary if you want to go across the border not on a boat, this bridge is worth driving over for the excellent view it gives you of the Soo Locks. And so you can say you've been to Canada :) It's well kept.

The views were great from the bridge - but it is only 2 lanes; one each way! Quite old as well. There also was construction on it causing some minor delays.

This bridge was an interesting one to cross over and to hear how it was constructed. You need a passport to cross over one one side or the other of the the US/Canadian border.

I couldn't take a picture while driving across and it was dark when we returned the following day. However, there are pictures and live webcams online although Tripadvisor does not allow posting links to websites so you will... More
