I thought with a unique name that the atmosphere would be great. Yeah, no!I felt like the bartender was preoccupied with too many other things. Also would not open a new bottle of a certain wine requested to try, just because it wasn't chilled. Who...More

This was probably our 3rd choice out of the local wineries downtown as far as tastings go. Felt slightly rushed, but overall nice tasting wines.

Great wines. We did a tasting and bought 6 bottles. Staff was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Lots of wine related retail items available too. Loved the wall plaques and dish towels with cute sayings.

I've been to Saint Joe countless times, but how did I miss this great place?! The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Impressed that Lazy Ballerina is a woman-owned, local business, sourcing the wonderful Michigan grapes! The wine was delicious...More

The tasting room is nice. I liked the staff they were very friendly. The wine was good. I just think that when you buy a bottle of wine the tasting should be free. They still charged me $9.

A nice addition to downtown. Their wine making facilities are actually on site. Grapes come from Coloma I believe. It was a friendly place. Did a pairing and got two wine glasses to take home. I enjoyed a red called Cavalier the most. A great...More

Our favorite place in st. Joseph. It was a relaxing wine tasting but very informative. Lots of cute wine accessories there to buy. The wine was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Small venue, average wine. We came for ice fest and they had one bartender working! It was crazy busy and they weren’t staffed properly. Huge disappointment

After a lackluster experience at a nearby tasting room, our group of five tried Lazy Ballerina. The wines were excellent and the pours were generous. We hadn’t realized they had closed while we were sampling—they were very accommodating. Cute place!

This is a cozy tasting room in downtown Saint Joseph. There are 2 other tasting rooms very close by so you can make an afternoon of it. They have a nice selection of wines, both reds and whites. This place is worth a visit!

My understanding is that you can go in, but just cannot taste or purchase wine. The shop sells other gift items which can be purchased, ie it is not solely a wine tasting bar. I recommend calling the shop directly to verify.
