Great trails that you can choose how long you want to hike. Most of the hiking we did was around Bell Rock which is in the area.

This is a fun little stop with a cheap price to climb to the top. It was a great view of the lakes and scenery of St. Ignace.

There are 171 steps each way...trust me, I counted. But there are several areas to rest along the way and hand tails. The views from the top are stunning. Very worth it at the bargain price of $1. Plus there's a cute gift shop as...More

Really just went to check the gift shop to see if they had any "Wooden Nickels".,which were out of. Being as I use a cane we didn't pay to climb the Rock. Did take some picture. Would have loved to go to the top just...More

Wow excellent place to visit during the fall, beautiful colors as the trees changes. This place was well worth the visit plus it was only 1 dollar to go in that is sharp.

We had a blast climbing to the top of castle rock. They do have benches on the way up to stop and rest if you need to. But for the cost, it was well worth the climb. The views were SPECTACULAR!

The climb to the top (170 steps) resulted in a good view. I think part of the appeal of this place is the climb itself. The stairs are well done, and have "rest areas" along the way. The folks at the Gift Shop at the...More

Though I don't know for sure, I would say no only because you have to walk through the gift shop to access Castle Rock itself. I'd give them a call to be sure #906-643-8268.
