Been going here for years. Basically it is a gift shop with the usual U.P souvenirs but for only $1.00 per person, you can climb the 120 stairs to the top of the rock, which is a tower of rock that overlooks Lake Huron. (I...More

We had a fun pit stop at this rare and outdated tourist trap. The hike to the top was well paved although the steps were a little tiring for the older folks in our group. The view was nice as you could see the water...More

This is a decent place to stretch your legs. It costs $1 per person to climb to top which is reasonable. There are a lot of stairs and they are steep and many are very slanted so not handicapped accessible. The view at the top...More

This is a very beautiful site. The only down fall is all the steps. Very hard to make it to the top for some of us. Wish they could find a way for elderly to get up there.

Obviously its a great view to be had and for $1 per person, it's worth the experience. Something worth knowing, it's approximately 170 steps. They are cement with handrails. There are places to stop and take a break along the way. However, I wish I...More

Sure, the stairs and climb to the top can be a little tiring for some adults, but the VIEW is astounding! One enters via the gift shop and pays a very minimal admission to climb. The kids love it, the adults love the view, and...More

Less than 15 minutes. Probably even less than 10. It’s really not a bad climb and I am not in great shape.
