This park is beautiful, with lots of sand and some gravel. If you have small kids go about a mile farther north, there is no current there). I like this park if everyone can swim.

A must see if your sightseeing they explain all the history. the have tours it a little pricy but it's worth it. there is a gift shop and a nice little beach. And the grounds are nice also.

the lighthouse is an interesting place to visit. we did not go inside but there are tours to take you inside to the top. It was nice that there was no charge to see the lighthouse or the beach area.
