This is a sweet spot not far from Ann Arbor where you can enjoy nature and still have some amenities: snack bar, toilets, changing rooms, boat rental.

No day use here, only camping and boating, but looks like a nice campground. A Recreation sticker on your license plate is required for entry or else you have to pay.

Yes it was 18 from before and I think it has not changed. To be on the safe side you may want to contact Michigan Department of Natural resources Park and Recreation division.
