Whether biking or walking, this is a great trail (maybe too short). Benches along the way with stairs and trails off the side for exploring (adorable little man-made waterfall about halfway through before the pavilion). Bathroom at the start of the trail (near Bayfront park),...More

The community has done an excellent job with the Bear River Valley. Beautiful scenery with easy to follow trails. You'll see lots of fishermen at the bridge, and likely will see Kayakers too. White water kayaking at its best. Large covered picnic area with lots...More

Kids had a blast with the waves splashing on the Boardwalk. Beautiful lake and awesome views. Best time to visit is when big waves are present.

The Bear River Valley offers beautiful scenery at no cost. The paths are easy to follow. It's proximity to Little Traverse Bay made it even more enjoyable.

Very nice relaxing place to walk along and see nature. It's very quite other than the water. It's a great way to spend an afternoon

We love this place and visit often. It's a lovely walk from the bay back in to the woods. Kayaking is pretty intense. I'm a moderately experienced kayaker and likely would not attempt this. If you do, make sure to have a helmet.

I really enjoyed the walkway along the river. It has a cellphone tour that is very interesting. The best part is the tranquility
