My family stayed at Hayes State Park for a weekend camping trip. We were located in a somewhat quiet part of park, which made for a relaxing visit. The bathrooms aren't as modern as other campgrounds, but they were always clean. Staff was friendly.

Great Beach, family friendly, raft rentals, concession stand and dog friendly. We go all summer for family picnics. They have grills available and picnic tables.

Seems like the camp sites are directly on top of each other. Be prepared to "hike" to the beach, most campers drive. Otherwise, it's a fun camping location for a weekend.
