This beach is never over crowded, and has great activities. The sand is so beautiful, and the beach is taken care of fabulously. Try the beer fest in August on the beach. Awesome

Beautiful beach and awesome lake! During the summer, there is almost always enough room to find a spot at this beach.

It's packed in the summer, but try it sometime in the winter. Waves (and later ice) crashing ashore, wind howling, snowflakes flying. Just beautiful. Just be sure to dress in layers!

Pere Marquette is a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan with a pier with a lighthouse. The parking is free! In the summer season a restaurant "The Deck" is open serving lots of delicious food choices!

Shoreline Inn is a nice place. Holiday Inn is close by. If your into camping we have beautiful state parks near by. I would check with VRBO or airbnb.
