The park and beach is quite large. They have tons of parking. The beach was clean and really nice with a playground, bathhouse, restaurant and snack stand.

it is well taken care of as I observed every morning during my run. A great place for family, sun and the chilly lake.

Huge, wide, clean beach right on Lake Michigan. Dree parking, volleyball courts, rental equipment & chairs, snack bar plus a great seasonal restaurant..."The Deck"...open during the best 5/6 months of the year.

What a treasure for Muskegon! The beach was clean and family friendly. People respected each other's space. I found it very family friendly.

Clean, clear water. Lovely Sandy beach. Prettier than most ocean's I have visited. Good amenities including parking, changing rooms, park, cafe. Perfect for the kids on a sunny day.

This beach lives up to expectations! Clean with beautiful views and one thing not really mentioned is the restaurant/ bar on the beach. The Deck has great food and drinks.

We drove up to Muskegon just for Pere Marquette Beach even though the day was cloudy and cool. Mostly a few locals about, but my family enjoyed having the beach to ourselves to listen to the waves, watch the lake, and build some sand castles....More

This was our 1st time here & it was so clean we couldn't believe it! The water was crystal clean as well and no smell which we loved. We walked to both lighthouses and got a work out, would definitely go back again!

I always laugh when I visit other coastal communities, like the time I was in Key West watching a sunset, listening to others get so excited about watching a sunset over water, over a large body of water. Why do I laugh? Because I'm thinking...More

There are foot showers at the beach to rinse off feet. Also bathrooms at the beach in soon to be renovated bathhouse, but no showers yet.
