Lovely old clock tower marks one end of the Grand Rue and is quite interesting though not as interesting as the Dolder tower in the neighbouring town of Riquewihr.

A beautiful, old tower divides the city of Ribeauvillé. There is also a restaurant underneath.Walk through it and experience the castle ruins.

This monument has surely a story to tell, but I'm not sure it's worth coming to Ribeauvillé just for it.

This tower is one of the symbols of Ribeauvillé. Its iconic image appears in all pictures of the town and cannot be missed during a walk in the streets.

This is nestled in a very picturesque village and on the main street and you have to walk through its arch to carry on down the road, so it's hard to miss. At times there are flags flying from the top. This is a nice...More

The houses are just beautiful with all the different paintings and colours! Go up the hill and look at all the shops and restaurants. Parking costs 3 Euro and you have to have the coins ready as the parking machines give no exchange money! Ribeauville...More

Ribeauvillé is a lovely historical town with many places of interest. There is a wide choice of shops, restaurants and hotels. Ample parking space availabe at the entrance to the town. Highly recommended!

We found this to be one of the quieter of the timbered towns in Alsace - we also visited Riquewihr, Colmar and Kayserberg, but nonetheless impressive. Felt less touristic and, for us, had a more authentice feel, though less intensively impressive that the other towns...More
