The guidebooks give this very short shrift, but it's more impressive than any single sight within the city walls. This was the palace of the last emir, and it's built with a mixture of Islamic and European styles. Entrance fee is 60,000 Sum for foreigners....More

Just outside the Khiva walls. This smallish palace has been recently renovated and it looks like they want to repay the money they invested in a year! 60,000 to enter... ridiculous in comparison to some real historical sites in Khiva. Not worth it. Also crazy...More

Had a quick look at the Nurullaboy Palace in Khiva when we were exploring the city back at the end of July 2017. It’s a short walk from the Old Town and beautiful to see the summer home of the former Khan. It doesn’t look...More

The reception palace itself if beautiful and original for a Central Asian ancient city but it would have been better if the main palace next to it ws open for the public.

The palace is of 19th century design and shows local as well as classicistic and 'jugendstil' decorations.

This is a pleasant more modern building of the 19th century and was designed as a summer place. There are opulent dinners served and spectacular folk music performances.

Nurullaboy can be recommended only for travelers who will be visiting Khiva, Itchan Kala for more than one day. The construction and decorations are quite different from the traditional decorations of Khiva.

It is located outside of Itchan Qala(Fortress). Build in 19th century in European-Russian style. Very interesting if you want to see how Khiva Emirs received guests from Europe.
