This beautiful old Vigan mansion is typical of the houses of the upper classes of Vigan in the early twentieth and nineteenth century. Well worth a visit. A piece of history in every room.

This was the first museum on our list while in Vigan. And after seeing the others, we all agreed, this one was the best! Visit takes ca 20 to 45 Min. Museum shop has nice products as well.

Elpidio Quirino, the sixth president of the Philippines, hailed from Vigan. It is one of the best-preserved historical homes in the city, showcasing life at the end of the 19th c in Spanish-Chinese style. Take time to read the helpful room descriptions.

The tour guide, whose name we forgot to ask, was very informative. Excellent place. 100php entrance fee was worth it.

As this well preserved building is furnished with many original pieces of the time, this tour presents an authentic experience of walking through a wealthy family’s mansion during the colonial period of about 150 years ago. It still feels like a family could be living...More
