Muktinath temple is a really beautiful temple that I had a chance to visit on June 1st week. Since it was at high altitude I had a headache but it went away after I had a glass of beer. Overall I had a fantastic time.

In my opinion one should visit mukhtinath temple when traveling to Nepal. It is in hieght and very windy and cold. Do not forget to take warm clothes.Jomson can be reached by Air as well as by road. Air is recommended.one have to climb stairs...More

Visiting Muktinath is one of the most memorable events if my life. Just imagine, you are travelling through the deepest gorge of the world , and some of the largest mountains of the world are guarding you.

There are no helicopter rides now. You can fly-in to Jhomsom and then, you have to go by road. Heli services are not operational any more
