this temple is one of the navaagraha temples.i visited this temple by 8am while my visit this temple was not crowded but good maintenance.this is 18 km from kumbakonam.lord ravi temple is 3km from here.

The main temple for Lord Sukran is located at Kanjanur, 18 km in the Kallanai-Poompuhar Highway of Thanjavur district. which is located 3kms from Suryanar koil, enroute to Mayavaram. Amazing lord sukra temple. I got a powerful feeling after entering into the temple. The temple is near kumbakonam. No crowd and morning darshan is too good.

Small temple of Sukiran. Highly crowded on Fridays. But all days are suited to offer worship. All the Navagraha Sthalankal are situated in and around Kumbakonam, within the radius of 60 km

Visited in the month of July 2016. This places is near Kumabhakonam. No crowd when visited in the morning. Had a good darshan. Had gone through 1 day Navagraha package. Relatively a big temple compared to other Navagraha temples. Main diety over here is Shiva....More

Nine temples to cover in two days, so we didn't have much time. Being a typical south Indian temple, it surely has a "Sthala puranam" and interesting architecture. So we enjoyed our visit and got the "Sthala puranam" booklets in the temples.
