Swamy malai is a very sacred place for Lord Murugan. The sanctity here is that knowledge holder is to be respected. This is the place where Lord Muruga preached worldly knowledge to Lord Siva. Great art and stone carvings. Temple of almost thousand years old.

Visited this temple and like most of the ones that we visited across Tamil Nadu, it has great architecture and is still in use. It will take about one hour to visit- more if you want to admire the beauty.
