I had visited minutes after 12 noon and it was already being closed about 3 months back. best bet is to go before 12 noon or after 4 30 pm. you can still go in to the outer prahara when the temple is closed, but cannot go into the main Mantapa and sanctum sanctorum. hope that helps.
