If you've already visited various temples and sites, you'll have seen more of the same already. It's just the remnant stones of temples with carvings. Not worth going out of your way but if you're in the area it's not too bad.

The Bodh Gaya complex has many things to offer and one of it is the museum. The museum has many relics and gives us a gist of the time that went by with various dynasties that ruled the place.

Visit at opening time, 9 a.m.: you will find it almost empty. Unusually for government facilities, the staff was most courteous. Houses a large and diverse collection of 'Nalanda' style artifacts and idols from the Gupta and Pala eras, well-labelled and tastefully displayed. A special...More

Houses the remains of the protective barrier that originally surrounded the Bodhi tree. Built under Asoka who initiated the Buddhist pilgrimage to the site. Additional fine Buddha figures. Only 5 rupees.
