The place is a small temple almost like the main temple within the Mahabodhi complex. This Shrine was built to mark the place where Buddha gazed at the Boddhi tree.

Its a nice place for those who like history and historical places. The place is believed to be associated with Buddha, as where he stayed and mediated, etc.

The Buddha sat still for a very long time, looking at the Bodhi tree from the location of this shrine just to show the gratitude to the bodhi tree under which he meditated to become the Buddha.
