If you want to visit a place that typifies Midland this is it. Someone constantly on your heels, never giving you an opportunity to look at your own pace. A reflection of a perceived self importance which is laughable in this village.

I was pleased that there is no charge for entry. Fun history...for example, look under toilet seats to see historical trivia. Classic for mid-Michigan.

You get out of your car, enter the building and go back in time. There is something for everyone. The people inside will share and answer your questions. Relax and enjoy.

A small scale and easy to get around local historical center that is extremely well done. Personnel is friendly and helpful. The grounds include a couple of outbuildings of note. Well worth the time to visit.

This place has a lot of things to do. It is very beautiful and informational. There is a park near by for a picnic. This is a great place for kids. A great place to take photos.

Like the Midland exhibit The history of the area from when lumber is king to present is fascinating.Take your time here as the history will give you an insight of the area most people do not see

Trying to find your ancestors? How about just like history? Well this place is loaded with both, all Midland! I would have said Excellent but the hours of operation are not everyday, so you must make allowances for your visit.
