There is an admission fee - less than $9.00. Children get a discount. The entry/exit is through a gift shop, of course. Included is a building with a short film on the ship wrecks of the area, a museum building with very nice models of...More

The day was so blustery and cold our visit was brief. We didn't take the tour as I am not able to climb stairs. But well-run and obviously well maintained.

On the water, enjoyed the beach and bridge while viewing the outside of this lighthouse. Wish I would have known it has certain times where there are tours but it wasn't well posted

This was an interesting tour that gave detailed information about the life of the lighthouse keeper. The gift shop was very good. Beautiful view of Lake Huron from the top. Beware...if you are very overweight, do not climb to the top. You have to fit...More

You get to go to the top of the lighthouse, but you don't get to go outside. You have to climb a ladder to get to the top of the lighthouse and the lady dressed in period dress answers questions about the lighthouse. It was...More

We toured the lighthouse before going to the Fort Michilimackinac. The lighthouse was interesting, but we weren't phyically able to climb the circular stairs and ladder to the top which would have made this tour a lot nicer. Wouldn't bother going inside if you can't...More
