The capital has been renovated, the exterior has been renovated and the entrance to the capital has been restored to original design....Alot of history & pictures of former govenors.

It's really a spectacular building on the inside. We met somebody in the elevator who worked for the floor leader and she invited us to see his office. She also introduced us to her co-workers; nice! Great experience.

Took a guided tour, albeit with a young kids school tour group, though that had its own charm. The place is magnificent and gives a great feel of the more recent history.

Beautiful rotundum especially for those who see them for the first time. Went on a gloomy day so the outside might not be so attractive. Anyway the restoration has been successful enough, and the staff inside were helpful.

Like Robert N, depends on when you're visiting the Capital. We visited on a Saturday and parked for free on street that was walking distance.
