There is so much history to see here. I come here for business but I’ve also taken tours and some of the things you see are well worth the time.

This is a very interesting place to visit. There are tours, but we had the choice of doing a self tour or joining a group of a grade 4 children. The guidebook is very useful and full of interesting facts.

The State Capitol building is a true gem. They offer guided and self guided tours but take the guided tour. The Docents are friendly and very knowledgeable. If you visit on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday morning, you may see the Legislature in action.

This is one of the better marketed Capitols we have visited. We toured the building with a 3rd grade class and found it educational and entertaining. We appreciated learning more about the Capitol. It was great to learn that one of Michigan's favorite governors, Austin...More

Like Robert N, depends on when you're visiting the Capital. We visited on a Saturday and parked for free on street that was walking distance.
