Interesting they built a number of fish ladders along the river to help with trout and salmon migrating to reproduce. Right next to Old Town and the parking is free.

While in Old Town area of Lansing walked over to the Fish Ladder. It was interesting to see the construction which is circular. Will go back when the fish are running and the fish ladder us in use.

Along the Lansing River Trail while biking is where I found this. It is by the dam not to far from Old Town Lansing. It's circular and it's interest level varies on the height of the river and how much you like fish.

On our river trail is a great asset to this city, and the great parks along the way are delights. This peaceful spot on the river is a fun stop.

Tucked into what is now called "Old Town" is this unappreciated gem, a real fish ladder, alongside the Grand River and the River Trail. The best way to visit is to walk the trail, but parking is nearby, and you can take a meal at one...More
