This is a wonderful park with a playground and picnic area - and when you walk through the tunnel you discover that you are right near the beach front of Lake Michigan! There are steps down to the sandy beach and you will find lots...More

Just over the bluff, or through the bluff via the "tunnel", its a great beach for the day. Beware, they'll lock you in at night if you're there after closing.

We rode our bikes around town and went from Holland State Park to Tunnel Park. This was a unique little park, when you pull up, it looks like a regular park rather than a beach. There is a bathroom facility with some vending machines outside....More

this is an easier beach to access, and stairs make the dune climb a lot easier. it has a updated playground area and plenty of places to grill or have a picnic. also has beach volleyball courts and showers to spray off the sand.

Parking is charged Memorial until Labor Day. Generally they stop charging around 7pm each day. Off street parking across from the park allows you to park and walk in without charge
